Does an entire country have them? Probably yes, somewhere. And I say that not having any clue as to what you're asking for. What is PT? What is 'corps'? What is your definition of 'pay well'? And you want whatever this is to be held in the evening?

People on here are generally very helpful. Perhaps you should be a bit more clear about your desired info.

Yes there are private corporate classes, but you definitely have to put in time to network and negotiate. The larger companies may prefer going with the language centers to send teachers to their company, or send their employees to the language center.

The smaller / cheaper companies may like going with a private teacher as they can pay a private 'independent contractor' a lot less than a contract with an English center. I found as my network got bigger, more jobs were thrown my way, but had to turn them down depending on the pay.

I'm assuming the market for corporate classes is a lot bigger in Korea and Japan. Vietnam is still a developing country, and international companies can hire English speakers rather than train and develop them.

Oh, "PT classes" actually means part-time teaching. I thought that the adjective referred to the subject to which it was attached. Silly me.

Also, the term "private" usually means classes that you contract yourself. "Corporate" would mean a company willing to contract personally with you. Yes, of course these contracts exist. Can you arrive in VN and have one fall into your lap? No.

Personally, most of my income comes Business Individuals, Groups, and returning Businesses. The Partnership of which I'm part, does Seminars aimed at International Business for protocol and basic legalities. I also teach at 1 High School. I work A LOT!

The Schools do market these businesses their services BUT lack the ability to customize and fine tune the approach to each customer's specific needs. Ambitious Teachers that are willing to put in the extra work get paid very well. example: I started at 25USD per hour then 30 and recently38USD per hour AND I have a clientele waiting list AND more referrals are coming in everyday.

So to answer the OP's question, IMHO, it's alive and doing GREAT however the catch is you'll have to really cling to each business connection until you've attained a STRONG relationship and soon you'll be meeting their friends, friends of their friends, and acquaintances through businesses that do business with them. And the Networking, grows and grows and grows.....

I should warn you that customization to each customers needs is quite a chore at first and sociable skills are imperative. So if you're looking for a "walk in the park" job - THIS ISN'T IT!

The market for these kind of services are alive and well!

But if you're not a highly self-motivated entrepreneur, go to the schools that market to businesses - the schools over simplify these courses.

Thanks for that. Underwhelmed I am!

Sound information from Oh My God, so good luck to the OP (I clearly understood your post)
