I'd love to teach in Taiwan in the future but never apply for jobs because there seem to be no adult teaching positions advertised! I would not mind teaching both kids and adults, but would not teach children only - and they seem to be the kind of openings available.

Are the adults in Taiwan interested in English classes at all? Where do they go?

ITI in Hsinchu has just been recruiting. Depending on how well the new teachers fit in, they may be recruiting again for September. (Perosnally, I hope not, but you never know.)

There are a few places in Taipei that recruit for adult teachers. You could try David's English Center - apply at their FuXing location (Talk to Craig) - they have several branches throughout Taipei City and are legit.
