Anyone have information on this school? I'm considering applying because they're advertising online? From what I understand it's a private college, so pay isn't as good as with the HCTs? |

It is a private women's college and has had its issues over the years. It is in a good location in Muscat for those that want to stay in the capital area. I would expect the salary offers to be close to the Ministry jobs... but likely less. You won't know until you apply and see where your credentials puts you on their scale. The low salary on offer means that they have few native speakers.

Thank You VS for your prompt reply.
I'm going to go ahead and and apply. I had no idea it was an all-girls' college, but being a female, that seems a good environment, especially with the large difference in quality between male and female students in Oman. |

Actually you find that difference everywhere in the Gulf. One of my med students in Kuwait bemoaned the fact that women were smarter than men. I told him that may not be true... that it may be because they are willing to work harder.
