I somehow doubt 10-month contracts qualify for the severance described above

One day? When I read that article (Article 47) I understood that one full year could result in one month of severance pay. But any period less than a year? ANY PERIOD? I doubt that anyone has gotten severance pay in this country for anything less than a full year. Any period less than a year but more than ten months (to provide one example) makes sense, but any period less than a year doesn't - it's too open-ended. This article is either very badly translated, badly written, and/or never practiced. I'm willing to be corrected on any of this if someone proves different.

Yeah, I don't think they were specific enough. Probably a date range would be better. I think it's to cover that a company doesn't fire someone like one week before the year is up or something and then claim they don't have to pay the severance.

I am on my first contract, and it is a 10 month one. I get 30 days paid winder vacation. If I sign another year I have the summer paid, and that means 90 days paid. That sure is a bonus to me.
