I have been reading contradictory information on this. The wind usually comes from the north blowing south or vice versa? What do you think about the pollution?

Air pollution is high in the whole area. Dammam/Khobar/Dhahran is bad too - thoug there 95 percent of the filth in the air there comes from the Internal Combustion Engine.

North to south. It's a mammoth petro-chemical plant so don't expect pure fresh ozone. Official medical figures for bronchial related diseases are kept hush-hush too ... for a reason.

Brochial problems not just in Jubail. In Khobar/Dhahran my doctor told me he was surprised at the high incidence of chest problems. I blame Henry Ford.
