I had briefly seen somewhere (perhaps good ol' CCTV) that Shenyang has a Korea town.

If someone was able to speak Korean very well, would he be able to have a fairly decent time?

Well, I think I'll be handing their offer back as it doesn't really suit me at this stage and I don't think too much negotiation would be entered into. The director has quite good English. If anyone is interested in the details (if you're looking to work there yourself) then PM me.

When you say "seating by my desk" that means you are in the process of showing people to their seats, by your desk!

But the normal, smart students learned how to use a very special type of book called a "dictionary." Again, that special book is called a Dic*tion*ary.
You should buy yourself a dictionary

using the term "seating by my desk" means, mostly, that you are in the process of furnishing people with seats by your desk. That is not an appropriate term for a location, is it
