Gerry, slightly off-topic a bit:
I had briefly seen somewhere (perhaps good ol' CCTV) that Shenyang has a Korea town.
If someone was able to speak Korean very well, would he be able to have a fairly decent time? |

Well, I think I'll be handing their offer back as it doesn't really suit me at this stage and I don't think too much negotiation would be entered into. The director has quite good English. If anyone is interested in the details (if you're looking to work there yourself) then PM me.
Thanks for the feedback guys. |

If you ever came across a "white man" wearing an orange, paint spray respirator mask protecting against vapors, pesticide, dusts (such as lead), fumes, mists, with two orange/white round cartridges and riding a black bicycle....:

If you are making 6500 kwai, and it's cold, can't you buy hookers and use them as blankets each night? 2 or 3 should do the trick.
I don't see the problem, just improvise. |

I do not remember ever having one single communication with "you"
Also where do you read "sit" and "seat"
Location, as per your location:
SEATING BY MY DESK
The seating of an audience.
To assign a seat to.
An area that includes seats for several people.
.......and for simple minds like yours: "Sitting at my desk"
So... you paid $200, waited 4 weeks an obtained your glorious EFL certificate by mail. Here you go "Teacher"!
Shall I presume that you are: cowboypete, batman, victoria, laurent, rickster? You ARE a sad "person" -

The acceptable English terms are: Sitting by my desk, Seated at my desk. "Seating by my desk" (which I see as of this writing, you have now changed - so, at least, you can take direction)

Well, at 300 RMB per girl, per night, (at least, that's what my friends told me ) you would need to earn 27,000 RMB per month just for warmth!!!
It would probably be better to buy a few electric heaters or just move to a cleaner, warmer city (as I did). |

Please refrain yourself "The acceptable English terms are", as you do not have the shadow to call yourself a "Teacher"...
Sitting AT my desk: The state or act of one who sits.

My mother died from a car accident. She was 67 and volunteering as staff manager at the local homeless shelter, and coming back from a meeting. October 22nd. 1995 - 08:50pm. Her name was Helen.
My mother died because of a lost soul like yours... Have a happy Memorial Day you too....

"About The Author" -
When you say "seating by my desk" that means you are in the process of showing people to their seats, by your desk!
. At least try to redeem yourself by being honest - is that really what you are trying to say, that you are in the process of showing people to their seats by your desk? Or do you really mean that you sitting at (by) your desk?
I am hoping, for all of us, that what you really teach in China is how to repair flat tires.
You shouldn't be teaching English to anyone.

But the normal, smart students learned how to use a very special type of book called a "dictionary." Again, that special book is called a Dic*tion*ary.
You should buy yourself a dictionary
and learn how to use it. Until you buy your very own copy, I will help you. Let's look up the word together..."seating."
Oh, okay, very good. You found it!
seating
SYLLABICATION: seating
NOUN: 1a. The act of providing or furnishing with a seat or seats. b. The seats so provided or furnished: seating for 500. 2. The arrangement of seats in a room, auditorium, or banquet hall: a theater that offers semicircular seating. 3. The member or part on or within which another part is seated. 4. Material for upholstering seats.
So, you see
using the term "seating by my desk" means, mostly, that you are in the process of furnishing people with seats by your desk. That is not an appropriate term for a location, is it
there are a lot of real teachers on this forum. Feel free to ask us for help whenever you need it. Don't be ashamed. And, remember, there is a place for people like you in China too.
