My husband and I are new to Riyadh. This is our first time here. We are looking into buying a car and buying stuff for our apartment in general. Are there any good sites for buying things secondhand? Or any places in the city you can recommend? Any advice for new comers is also appreciated. Thank you! |

Welcome.
I recommend this website.

There is an Ikea if you didn't know already. Not second hand but has a lot of random stuff, but you've probably patronized an Ikea so you know that. |

You will be required to have a letter from your company/sponsor showing you have permission to buy a car. This is for sure for any new car or car from on any sort of payment plan.
You'll need your Iqamas to do just about anything for Bank Accounts, STC accounts, buying a car new or used on payment plans etc.
Best of luck! |

When buying a second-hand car BE CAREFUL. Conventional wisdom is NOT TO BUY from a local. |
