Does anyone have any information about this organisation? They are offering positions in the RSAF and Defense Language Institute English Language Center (DLIELC), Dhahran.
Any information is appreciated. |

They have just posted the position in www.tesol.org, so I doubt it's a scam. I also googled them and they have a website. |

Looks like you'd probably be teaching the military (using the DLI, it's generally thought, sucks.)
But the BIG question: what's the salary?
"Salary: NA / Yearly Location: Dhahran, Saudi Arabia
Type: Full-Time
English Language Training Instructor
Salient Federal Solutions has contingent openings for English Language Instructors requiring deployment to Saudi Arabia for a period of 1-3 years.
Position details are as follows:
Responsibilities:
� Syllabus will be provided by the Defense Language Institute.
� Comply with language training policies and procedures of the LTD.
� Adhere to all Policy and Procedures of the RSAF and Defense Language Institute English Language Center (DLIELC).
� Conduct general English classes/laboratory sessions (computer/multimedia) to facilitate students' entry into DLIELC.
� Maintain a student centered classroom
� Maintain a neat and orderly classroom, office, and laboratory
� Prepare/develop weekly lesson plans lesson plans based on instructor guides which describe course and unit objectives. Participate in the creation/development, evaluation/assessment, recording of additional materials for class or program use.
Desired Skills and Expereince:
� Experience providing English Language Training to Middle East or students.
� Overseas experience (off a military base) during either a military assignment or other travel in non-English speaking countries, preferably in the Middle East
� Driving civilian vehicles and using public transportation in foreign countries
� Computer proficiency to include MS Office and web applications
Required Education/Training:
� Master's degree (or doctorate) in Teaching English as a Second Language/English as a Second Language (ESL)/English as a Foreign Language (EFL)/English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)/Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL)/Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL)/Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) (Applied) Linguistics/English/Foreign Languages AND more than one year of professional experience teaching ESL/EFL to adults.
OR
� Bachelor's degree in Teaching English As Second Language/ESL/ EFL/ESOL/TESL/TEFL/TESOL/(Applied) Linguistics/ English/Foreign Languages AND more than five years of professional experience teaching ESL/EFL to adults.
OR
� Any undergraduate degree AND 24 semester hours (or equivalent) of undergraduate courses equivalent to a major in ESL/EFL/ESOL/TESL /TEFL/TESOL/(Applied) Linguistics AND more than five years of professional experience teaching ESL/EFL to adults.
� DLI Cert is desirable
