I am sure this question has been blasted on the boards before, but I did not see a sticky for it. Anyways, I have teaching in Korea for a few years and considering moving to Taiwan. I have a B.A. and TESOL certified. However, I am wondering about paperwork is required for immigration. I am not sure if the requirements are the same as in Korea.
Do I need to provide a Criminal Record Check and notorized copy of my degree? Do they need to be stamped by the Taiwanese consulate in my home country of Canada? Do I need to supply sealed copies of my transcripts?
If someone can give me some assistance or know of any websites that can explain the visa processing procedure for Taiwan that would be great. |

I think it depends on the school if they want a criminal record check from your home country. I think Hess requires one.
I don't think you need sealed copies of your transcripts since you already have a degree. But bringing one copy won't hurt. |
