The only medical issues I have is that I get kidney stones frequently. They are very painfull, and usually a trip to the ER. I guess that makes another criteria:
1. need a place where I can drink the tap water |
Or you either just buy bottled water or get used to boiling your drinking water, depending on where you end up. |

If you're trying to find a funded course in the next few months, then forget it. It's not going to happen. As I say, they are very rare and when they do occur, they're not convenient.
Re. the conditions: most of the ones you've asked about are offered by some Russian employers. Not necessarily the drinkable tap water though. |

I understand that a lot of posters here are annoyed when a newbie doesn't follow up. I just wanted to say that, since my original post, I have decided to quit my job and enter a Master's degree program full-time next month.
I will continue to keep you guys updated, and will prolly keep asking newbie questions |

I drink the tap water and find it has a subtle 'bark' flavour.
Am told it comes from the dogs floating in the reservoir.
Seriously, I'd go with an online and see if you can get a voluntary position teaching new migrants or refugees.
China offers the biggest scope for less than optimally qualified teachers, so like others I feel this would be a good start point.
You should be all teed up to start applying in April/May for 1 Sept start.
Most China jobs in the State tertiary sector are for Oral English so if you have options in your online make sure you include this.
Look for 5-5500RMB per month, airfare allowance of 10000RMB on completion of one year. Paid Jan/Feb holiday. Under 20 hours contact time pw AND furn single occupancy accom on campus. You can do better in years 2 and beyond, but getting started is the biggie.
After your first one year gig you can reassess your options with real experience to go on.
PM me if you have questions you don't want to show on the forum. |

Hi M1K1,
Being a sub-human contractor for years for the DoD, I would suggest looking at USA Jobs. I have, but I have no points as a veteran. You know they give preference to veterans and have bases all over!! And with a degree in finance, there are a lot of procurement jobs in many places, too!
Other than that, how quickly do you want to make this move? My daughter and her BF are going to Korea with only bachelor degrees. If you need to make some money it seems like a decent place to go for newbies.
Thanks! |
