Hey ya'll. It's me again. More questions to anyone that can help:

1. Nova said my "estimated departure date" is Sept 15 should I start looking for tickets now? The guy acted like it wasn't definite, but I am scared they will tell me the Nova place tix is $382383 and I may be able to secure a cheaper one.

2. I'm getting married!!! My boyfriend is in the Marines and he is getting shipped off shortly before I leave for Japan. Does anyone know of the military bases near Osaka? Also if I have Tricare through the military and can technically go on any bases and get service from a doctor, do I still need JMA or other health care?

3. I think I want Nagoya as my #1 choice I have heard that people get screwed if they pick anything other than Tokyo and Osaka. I have a uncle by marriage in Nagoya and have heard a lot of good things about the place. Is it likely that I will get Nagoya or will I be stuck in a random rice paddy somewhere?

If you haven't already requested a location why don't you request Hiroshima? I think it's a great city (not too big, not too small) and if you do need it, there is a US military base 45 minutes by train from Hiroshima station.
