Dear members,

First of all, I would like to introduce myself - male, middle aged (I can't believe I am beginning to use that term), master's degree educated (econ.) with about 4 years teaching experience. I'm from the UK currently living and teaching in Vietnam.

Hello to you all.

Now the query...

Would anyone be kind and knowledgeable enough to share some information of the NIT of Jeddah? Things like management, housing, pay et ceterea... I cannot find much information on the net other than it is quite new and a few teachers seem to be a bit disgruntled, but doesn't give any info as to why.

Yours sincerely,

Lee

I know many who worked at NIT and not a single person said a decent thing about it. Terrible students, poor management...

With a master's you should be able to get hired at one of the better unis.

Where did u work in Vietnam?

That's the impression I got from another post - I wonder what it is over there.

I have applied to many places in the gulf, but to no avail. Perhaps it is my lack of a degree in a related subject.

I have been working in Hanoi and Danang. In Danang, I set up my own English centre, failed and returned to Hanoi to begin the grind again - I've worked everywhere in Hanoi.
