Hello,
I'm keen to find English teaching work in Taiwan. Which do you recommend as the best schools in terms of teaching conditions and pay?
If you know of any schools that should be avoided, I'd appreciate advice there as well.
Many thanks in advance,

Wordsie,
Most schools pay 550NT-600NT an hour.
You should expect to earn 60,000NT a month. |

Avoid Uncle Sam American school like the plague of Death.
Most of the big chains are going to vary based on management. For instance, none of my friends, including Taiwanese friends, in TaiChung work on weekends, but a lot of Hess's want that. I worked at a pretty good Shane branch my first year (2008)..... but some of the experiences I hear from people from Shane schools are not so good. |
