Yes, I would think that you could do well with those credentials - should get you over the first hurdle. The last step is always selling oneself in an interview.

As a poster who is currently teaching English in the UAE,
I'd be willing to endorse D.Merit's salaries assessment
for a new arrival on the UAE scene,
assuming that accommodation allowance is included in those totals.
Bear in mind, though, smedini , that rents and living costs are
significantly higher in Dubai than in Al Ain, for example.

No - I'm talking about the salary not including accommodation allowance.
18,000 including the accommodation allowance is not a good salary in the UAE for a native speaker with an MA and the requisite experience.
Some may consider it acceptable, of course. |
