Hi,
I've applied for a job in Jakarta with EF, and have been offered a place in Pamulang.
EF seems to get a pretty bad press, but my search didn't turn up anything specific to the Pamulang school. Does anyone know what it is like?
Also, what is Pamulang itself like? It looks quite a long way from central Jakarta, about 1-3 hours in taxi I am told. I am concerned that I will be stuck too far away from anything interesting.
On another note, if Pamulang turns out to be no good, which are the best EF franchises to apply to?
Cheers. |

EF Pamulang was only once the subject of discussion on this forum, and that was when one of their teachers was deported for working illegally on either a business or tourist visa.
Pamulang has very little to recommend it. It is a sprawling outer suburb and it takes ages to get into town or anywhere else. If you applied through EF central recruitment I suggest you get back to them and ask what else is available. |

Did you end up going to Pamulang? What was it like? |
