IELTS/test prep is NOT what is considered experience in the teaching of Academic English. I'm referring to a couple years teaching in an IEP or Foundations program.

| The only thing "academic" about intensive English in most foundation programs is that it is taught on campus. Nothing much goes on that deserves the name "academic" until the credit-bearing level. |
