Washing cars without water in Dubai

I think the Indians/Bengalis/Pilipino who wash cars in the street using their buckets and water will be very upset about this! |

No one could accuse those fellows of wasting water. Have you kept track how many cars they will wash with one bucket of water?

As one who teaches in the business school I'm all for the entrepreneurial spirit but...
Their estimates of water saved is hilarious. As VS commented, the mall washing guys can do many cars on a bucket of water. Either would be preferable to the auto-washing machines that really do use a ridiculous amount of water. |

In my area of the US, many of the automated car washes recycle their water. That would seem to be crucial in the desert.
