Saving face just translates into dishonesty and lying to me.
Who knows why they asked you? Were you the only teacher they asked? Perhaps they did this to multiple teachers to see if any of them would heed their word and take the job. All we (and likely you) can do is speculate.
Happy to see that you got your original contract restored. |

They pulled the same thing on a guy a while ago, I just found out. He wasn't as attached to the job as I was and took the kids (for the money).
Anyway, things seem to be back to normal.. fingers crossed |
