Hi Everyone,

New to teaching wanting to teach in China.

Questions-

If one accepts the Contract (agreement they send to you), it asks for your Passport number, either listing or scanning the Passport, should it be provided?

Many thanks.

David

Sure...seems to be pretty standard these days.

Some more paranoid expats will refuse to do so claiming it leaves you open to identity theft or other such junk.

The potential employer has to fill in all kinds of forms, do all kinds of crap with the info from your passport page. Easiest way is to just scan and send it....**If** you are really worried about sending the thing in its entirety (sp?) I tend to just crop off the info code at the bottom.
