A visa run could also be done when your tourist visa is about to expire (in this case you'd be an illegal teacher) and you have to leave the country and come back to get a new tourist visa. I've done that when I was in Korea. I went over to Japan for a day and then came back. Visa runs can be when you're teaching either legally or illegally.

Holy cow you two are fast! Double gracias.

And, here's my next question, as s-t-u-p-i-d as it may appear: Where can I view a really good, online, in English - which includes cities and provinces - map of these places I see in the job postings?

try www.chinatefl.com

They have a provincial map that you can also click to find the latest jobs in that province.

No, Scot, it shouldn't. This forum stuck the ? to the end of the URL, but I have edited my original posting to correct it. Thanks for pointing that out!
