Trapped in the Sahara with little to do has, no doubt ,increased the amount of time I've been spending on Dave's.Today I found something/someone who really made me laugh,(at him).Has anyone out there read the job info journal about Russia?If you haven't please read.There's a guy called Winston pouring his soul out on it.He's from a place called 'Bellingham', CA, a town where he 'was considered a nerd'.Russia has transformed him,(he was 'reborn' there) and he's now a star with the chicks and has something he's clearly worried about called 'social staus'.I'm going to follow this drama as it unfolds.In short, I'm hooked,Shakespeare didn't write tragedies this good.Lets just hope the Samaritans don't talk him out of his writing career.

That is quite an engaging read - thanks for the tip! At first I was reading and thinking, "Well, it's amusing, I suppose, but ..." Then I realized this guy just keeps going on and on:

Apparently he's been blasted for that weblog thing of his, which shows him cavorting with numerous lovely Russian women. Looks like we've got another Whitjohn on our hands!

Given that this poor lost soul hails from dull, dreary, pointless Bellingham (which is across the border and down a bit from Vacouver, BC, in Washington state) I can understand that he is feeling , um, shock and awe upon visiting Russia... but jeeze, is a 6 month visit enough to base such an enormous, pulpit-pounding thesis on? Has he been anywhere besides Bellingham (*snicker*) and Russia? And what's with his assertion that only Americans have to deal with mortgages and insurance etc, and that all the women are evil manipulators who were put in Bellingham to reject him repeatedly?

I'd love to meet this guy.

Use the Internet to discuss current events.
Take accredited school courses via the Internet.
Learn to play a instrument, dance, or draw.
Do not date or marry an American woman.
Try not marry a woman who is more than 3 inches shorter then you.
Don't use illicit drugs or psychotropic prescription drugs.
Vote like your life depends on it.
If you are a skilled lover, you will realize that sex is naturally more enjoyable for the woman.
Learn everything you can about fuel cells. (Ballard)
Teach your son a skill or trade.
Show by example the rewards of honesty.
Learn about sexually transmitted diseases and infection rates from around the world.
Don't have kids until you are in your thirties.
Get rid of that nasty pot belly.
Push for a federal flat tax of 10% plus a combined 5% state and local tax.
Hold government workers criminally responsible for abusing their tax collecting authority.
Do not treat pets like human beings, however, do treat pets as valuable workers, companions, and guardians.
Do not cheat on your girlfriend or wife if you have agreed upon a monogamous relationship.
Don't pay more for a sporting event then what it costs to see a movie.
Leave American women with nothing but dishonest and abusive men to spend their time with.
Don't believe that violence is funny or amusing.
Realize that decent men are valuable and sought after by women outside of America.
Do not do business with psychologists or psychiatrists.
Don't be embarrassed about living a honest and humble life.
Accept responsibility for your actions.
Legally pay for the music you download via the Internet.
Don't Smoke.
Don't engage in anal sex.
Do not marry any woman with a tattoo.
Limit your alcohol consumption.
Realize that it's a honor and privilege to be a man.
Don't tease your friends.
Treat women as unique but not as your equal.

Start a small business in a foreign country.
Register to vote as an (n) Independent.
Don't rely on the police to save you from danger.
Your mind has the ability to fight most sicknesses that do not require the skills of a surgeon or certain anti-biotics.
Many public school teachers are homosexuals, bi-sexuals, perverts, alcoholics, or lazy.
Make a genuine effort to put public schools out of business by paying for private educational alternatives.
Ask long-time working or retired men for kind-hearted advice.
Use statistics, reason, and logistics to maneuver thru society.
Limit your exposure to commercial broadcast television.

Honest people can always come to understanding and agreement.
