| Sorry for all of the questions, but I am giving China serious consideration and I want to make sure I have all of my ducks in a roll. So, if I get and pay for a physical in the USA, take the results with me to China, I'll have to get another physical once in China? If so, do I have to pay for that one as well? Anything need to be translated from the physical in the USA? |
costs for the initial medical exam vary widely/wildly, from $50 (or less)
in thailand to $800 (or more) in the usa. you pay for this one.
that check just allows your school to get your work permit, and is (usually)
required by the embassy to issue your z-visa.
once you arrive, you (probably) will take another exam at the provincial
entry/exit quarantine center. this one will cost 250-300 rmb, paid for by
your school. when you pick up the exam forms, you also get your little
brown healthy certificate, which then allows you to apply for your FEC. |
