| Has anyone worked at some of the international schools or recently lived in Mandalay? I am going there in a couple weeks and would like to know the current situation in that part of the world. |

Compared to Yangon, there's very few schools in Manadalay.
There's Ayerwaddy, ILBC and Horizon Mandalay. All will hire you from abroad I believe.
Teachers from Mandalay have told me it's more of a "Wild West" atmosphere there. If even Yangon is too western for your tastes it might be a cool place to live. As in everywhere in Myanmar, the people and the culture is excellent. |
