| I have a filipina GF who recently completed an ESL training course and is looking for a short-term volunteer teaching assignment in central or eastern Thailand. Can anyone direct me to an appropriate agency or school? |

Does she have a degree and a TOEIC over 600?
If yes, then just get a job.
If no then she will be illegal (even as a volunteer).

All I know is she has her ESL certificate, having completed the course at a language school here in Pattaya. They actually recommended a school where she could volunteer, but it may be too far from an airport and b us route and besides, class sizes are too much for her to handle. If volunteering to teach English is illegal in Thailand, myself and many of my friends are subject to deportation. Maybe we're just lucky. She's NOT currently looking for a job; just a short 2-3 week volunteer assignment.
She does NOT have a degree. |

IF you are working, even as a unpaid volunteer, and do not have a work permit then you are illegal and subject to all that being an illegal means. Make no doubt about it.
The ONLY exception would be if you are in orange robes.
And yes, I am aware that there are lots of illegal workers (especially between Chonburi and Rayong)
