| Sorry this isn't job related but I'm in a bit of a jam. When I was paying my rent and bills in cash at Banco De Valencia yesterday the teller mishandled by money (didn't count it in front of me, put it in a counting machine I couldn't see, basically took it out of my sight). She then claimed I had only given her 400 and not 450. I'm 99% sure I gave her 450 but that's besides the point because she mishandled the money and now nothing can be proved. I'm trying to get someone to go back down there who can speak fluent Spanish and English but no luck so far. My school's response was something along the lines of "Oh that's terrible. Good luck with that!" but I don't suppose they're obliged to help me. Anyone who teaches in Spain knows that 50 euros is a fortune. Is there anything I can do if I manage to get language assistance but the bank is uncooperative? |
