Hello. I'm new here and hope people can help answer some questions.
Been offered jobs in Fuzhou, with York English school, zhengzhou with czz china and in changzhou with Shane English.
Now the first and third seem very legit jobs but after reading through some horror stories I'm just hoping people can help verify if these are all or some are reputable companies that can help me achieve my dream of teaching English in china.
Thanks in advance. |

You may have fewer problems with Shane. I only say this because they have schools in Japan and Taiwan as well. |

Really? Multiple branches or being in multiple nations means they must be legit and on the up-and-up? |

I tend to agree with kungfuman ... if I had it to do over again, I would avoid the Language Mills like the plague! They can be brutal as far as work schedules and the number of different school locations where one is expected to work. Also, if you get in a situation where a teacher quits --like I did-- and you have to substitute ... it can be exhausting.
Lack of vacation time is also a bummer. I learned a lot during my first year in the PRC working for a Training Center, but I'd NEVER go back to that kind of teaching or lifestyle, not now that I've had a taste of working for an I.S.
