Well, plumpy, do you want to be lashed 100 lashes and then deported to your country?
"No-one, including expatriates, should eat, drink or smoke in public during the fasting hours: strict penalties, including deportation, can be incurred if caught. All restaurants and eateries are closed during daylight hours throughout Ramadan.

You can get room service in better hotels. Take-away places are typically opne from around 4pm - but do not eat until you are safely behind your own door ! Or unril the Azzan has been called for sunset ! |

Like most vampire and zombie movies, you will be safe during the day from most of the fasters. They come out at night and pillage all eateries. If you have heavy tinted windows then you should be ok to consume in your car too. Just pull over somewhere safe and quiet.

Ps. Those azzan calls sound like far off zombies waking up.... that's my opinion of this religion's slavery routines |

It appears to be not only limited to restaurants and coffee shops, the little "mom and pop" groceries are closed down during the day. At least Carrefour is open at 10:30 AM. |

I miss some aspects of KSA. Tax-free US$4000 a month is only one aspect of it. |

No...
I miss how the Saudis used to stand quietly & respectfully in lines, treated their South Asian brothers & sisters with the same respect that they enjoyed, showed tolerance of others and strapping in their children into car seats before driving defencively around the streets being sure to doff their ghutras to the other drivers while smiling sweetly the whole time... |

Scot47 stopped teaching a couple of years ago. It shouldn't matter to anyone what he was paid back then.
Now let's stay on topic. |

Okayyy...
...getting in the right-hand whilst turning left serving coffee or food open during the day...
...NOT parking behind my car while I'm in the Tamimi Market serving coffee or food open during the day...
...NOT yelling out the wrong guess when I'm trying to answer the "question" serving coffee or food open during the day...
...NOT slowing down to a crawl after being "tootled" at earlier in such a hurry serving coffee or food open during the day... |
