				| I am sure the breakdown in cost of living has been covered but I would like to know if anyone has a breakdown for the cost of living in Madrid with a child? I am leaving for Spain next year 2014, so I have 12 months to prepare for a job as a language assistant or English teacher.
Realistically I would be making 1000-1200 Euros a month as a language assistant working 20-24 hours a week. I have an M.Ed in elementary education in will have a TeFl plus 3 years of experience. My goal is to teach for 2 years in Spain in make extra income teaching in company privates an extra 10 hours a week. I occasionally do some telecommuting online teaching English and I also do some online work for Pearson which helps but it is not enough just yet. Ideally I would like to make 1600-2000 Euros a month by the second year maybe from my online jobs increasing my hours or finding extra work with a reputable language school in Madrid. If this works out I can renew my contract for another year.

I am bringing 12,000 U.S. dollars which is about 9500 euros for expenses for a year to help offset the low salary for 10 months until I increase my income. Maybe a positive attitude in a lot of networking I will reach my goal.

How much realistically do you think I should expect to spend a month?
Childcare in Nursery: 525.00 Euros for (10 months)
 Housing 1 bedroom: 500 Euros ( 12 months)
Utilities, Internet, Food: 500 Euros ( 12 months)
