No, I was saying the opposite. The flaunting part was a joke which I see was lost on you. I know that Asian women are treated badly in KSA, but I have seen many alone in the malls and supermarkets sans niqab. I myself rarely cover my head and have never worn a niqab, but as a mature Western woman, I have never been harassed by men and seldom told by the mutawa to cover my head. I realize the experience may be completely different for the young and/or non-Western. |
