| I'm a Polish Canadian, with a Business degree from a Canadian University and just finished CELTA this past friday..lol..and setting my sights on Poland..my polish is OK (grew up in Canada). I guess my question is how does a newb like me get things started..how is Poland right now in terms of teaching..anyone knows any good schools that are hiring? how hard would it be for someone straight out of CELTA to get a teaching job?..any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.. |

Gotta do it...
You could start by spelling words (at least in titles)  correctly and by mastering the third person singular in statements as well as questions. |

Yes I do..my family emigrated to Canada when I was a kid and I'm flying to Poland in 3 days for a wedding but also with intention to stay and teach...been reading the forum for the last few days (lots of great info) and if anyone has anything else do add I'd really appreciate it...Thank you guys |

Bad timing for a job hunt - it's very much holiday time.
Much more likely you will find something in September. |

Yeah I know. I spoke with my cousin who's a teacher in Warsaw and that's exactly what she said...oh well..I'm flying to Poland tomorrow, wedding next week and then right after the wedding I'm gonna get into it and see what happens... |
