Does anyone have any current information regarding the company Edukeys China. I have been offered a position and wanted to get more information on the company.

Thank you!

I worked for them for a bit. Don't really have anything bad to say about the company per say but I ended my contract with them because I wasn't happy with the living conditions.

You are basically hired by a 3rd party to teach the program on their campus. The students were brilliant. They were all prepping to apply to unis in US, UK and Australia. They give you the course work so there is little leson planning. Teaching for about 15 hours a week. Decent pay.

Only thing I didn't like was that you were given accommodations on campus. So, if you have a problem in the apartment you can tell Edukeys and they have to straighten it out with the school. The school wasn't always thrilled to fix things. Edukeys wouldn't push the issue because that school is basically a client. The internet was also shared by the whole school and it was slow and terrible. I asked to be able to drop in a line that I would pay for and they refused. Long story short, I was ok with the company, just didn't like the school. I gave two months notice and got a release letter with no problems. They were very understanding. They have even asked me numerous times to come back and work for them. It was at that time that I refuse to live on any campus (they are not all bad) because I just don't want to take the chance. I would just rather pay for my own apartment but that's just me. You may like it.

Thank you for your reply. I am looking into locating in Chengdu or Xi'an. Any thoughts on living in Chengdu or Xi'an?

I was in Chengdu. You are no where near the town. You are out in Shuangliu wich is by the airport. I heard they moved them all to new apartments but that was like a year ago. I think the Xi'an location was a bit outside of town as well.
