And I thought these useless students just went home to live with mommy and daddy again, play with their cell phones and masturbate. I guess some think they have a calling greater.

The media - and I suspect most Weatern spooks and their employers - do not really understand what has been going on. They pretend that they do but they are clueless. if in doubt listen to the hokum you get from the likes of Frank Gardner bon the Beeb. He had studied Arabic at university level but did not have the basic street smarts about dangerous places to go in Riyadh. He reminds me of someone else I met who had a degree ion Islamic Studies but did not have enough Arabic to string together a simple sentence !

Not ice how they speak of Al Qaeda as if it were a franchise modelled on KFC or BurgerKing !

Dear scot47,

"Not ice how they speak of Al Qaeda as if it were a franchise modelled on KFC or BurgerKing !"

Well, there ARE similarities: They all hire the poorly educated, pay minimum wage, and want to kill as many Westerners as possible.

KFC, McDonalds, and Burger King, however, are doing a much better job of the last item mentioned.

Regards,
John

You don't have to be a genius to be a good bomb maker. You have to be a nut (psychopath) and have access to the internet. The guy thought nothing of having his brother being blown to bits. The British have it right, identify people with certain personality flaws after their first encounter with them and keep track of them.

Expat 101,

What is there not to believe here? The boy was a KSU student (although not stated in this article, you can easily look it up) he dropped out after 2 years and makes bombs, and has not been caught. It is agreed by those who have studied the case- both in Saudi Arabia and abroad- that his brother is the one who blew up (using his bomb) in front of the Saudi prince.

My concern is, are we helping to raise terrorists by teaching English at those schools, or is this a one-off?

Dear gorkomi,

If you're concerned about that, come to Boston, where you'll have no such worries.

"Dzhokhar Tsarnaev spent an apparently normal day Wednesday at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where he was a sophomore, according to a school official, working out in the gym, then sleeping in his dorm room that night, while law enforcement officials frantically scanned photos trying to identify the men who planted deadly bombs at the Boston Marathon on Monday."

Regards,
John

I am a TRUTHER. Okay, if you don't know what that means, I suggest you do a Google search. Come back to me after you've watched at least 72 hours of videos and read hundreds of articles about the topic. Then, and only then, we can have an intelligent conversation about the matter. I've had to tolerate the disinformation circulated in the media for two decades, but I don't buy it.

Dear DLIguy,

No bet. Mom told me it was a sin to bet on a sure thing:

More exercise is not cutting into the nation’s high obesity levels, and unwise diets are killing more people than about anything else—including smoking, drinking and drug use. Those are among the findings of a new study by the Institute of Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) at the University of Washington.

The independent research center rolled out its findings last week at a “Let’s Move” event hosted by First Lady Michelle Obama. The report, with its interactive county-by-county assessments of life expectancy, physical activity, obesity and blood pressure, continues to attract attention.

In the study, the IHME identified the top ten risk factors for health loss in 2010 and the number of deaths attributable to each one. Here are the death totals by risk:

Diets 678,282"

http://www.foodsafetynews.com/2013/07/poor-dietary-habits-are-killing-people/#.UgU7zByJX1Q

You are what you eat. If your diet consists mostly of junk food, what you soon will be is dead.

Give me a buzz when the terrorist bomb death toll hits half a million a year.

Regards,
John

But then, again, how else are you going to get "booty bomb" in print??? Laughing

'Truther' aka Conspiracy Theorists Follower. It wasn't in his rectum, it was stitched to his underwear. There are terrorists outside of the Middle East, but this isn't a Boston forum. The Boston bomber is caught. Yes fast food is a killer, but one we employ to kill us. If the rest of the world is going to emulate Americas eating habits, they could at least open up some Whole Foods stores. I just answered three of you in one shot. Hard to type on phone.

Try to find the truth for yourself instead of depending on mainstream media to feed you disinformation. You might learn that the world is a lot more complicated than you ever dreamed possible.
