|
|
Hello,
I was wondering if anybody has any recent info regarding the turnaround time to get stamped diplomas back from SACM. The first time I submitted documents for verification they were returned within a week due to a missing letter from my university registrar. I was just wondering if a week is the typical length of time required for SACM to complete their process. Thanks for the help |

Generally, within 2 weeks or so. |

| I think it may depend on which office you are using. I was astonished a few years ago when the AACM in Ankara phoned me to ask if everything was proceeding as it should ! |

I got my degree attested a couple of months ago and it took about 4 weeks from actually posting the documents to receiving everything back.
From my experience if you're looking to follow anything up, or want too see how far through things have gone then you're best contacting your university. Every time I tired to contact the SACM they were far too busy, |

However, you did your processing in the UK; the OP's docs are being handled in the US. No doubt the processes vary based on the country.
The SACM processed my documents in one of the quickest time frames. I'd had my university's registrar send the transcripts and other required documentation directly to me --- I never opened their sealed envelopes. I then mailed everything to the SACM in Washington DC via FedEx. Three days later, I received my authenticated diploma. However, I should add that one of the keynote speakers at the SACM's annual ceremony several months prior was a recent graduate from my university. I'm sure that had some influence on the processing time of my degree. |

| Like I mentioned in another thread, my school refused to give out the information that the SACM wanted. It was transcripts and official degree verification from the registrar and that was all they would do. They had never heard of these guys and were pretty much shaking their heads. I finally got the visa anyway although much delayed by about 2 months later after the refusal. |
