I'm trying to have a backup plan in case trying to get work in Spain fails. Most of the positions fill up by early October in the EU. If I can't one during this month, I'm probably screwed out of working in the EU.

What is the job market like in Russia in October? If there are available positions in a country there or anywhere in the C.I.S., I'd look into going. I know little about how the market works and am trying to find out as much as possible.

I'd say it probably wouldn't be a problem. Moscow seems to be crying out for teachers at the moment. My inbox is proof of that.

Not to derail the thread... but it would probably be silly to make a new one just to ask about the availability of jobs in November (as in early November, for what that's worth). Embarassed

People who apply for teaching positions in November are hunted down and shot.
