Does anyone on here have any contact with ILA? They seem to be the only school in Vietnam that's hiring overseas. I tried sending them my cover letter, resume, passport, etc. several times, but never can get any response.
Maybe they're just really selective ... but i'm also worried that my stuff never got through to them ...
Any help or input would be greatly appreciated

Contact Steve Baker at [email protected] with a resume and he should get back to you quickly.

Thank-you so very very much Micro67. I have just resent everything to the email you gave, hope to get a reply soon.

I visited the website you have in your signature space. It's quite a useful site. Question: is there somewhere on the site for "job seekers" to post our resumes ... I looked around but couldn't see any ... i think it would be really helpful if you could have something like that.
Thanks again.

I applied for a job there 18 months ago and was offered a position. Unfortunately, I was unable to take it at the time. I reapplied one year later and got no response. I'm not sure what the reason was.

Definitely a good idea - we are trying. Sorry it took so long to respond, but it looks like this site is getting a face-lift as is mine.

I work at ILA... They are normally always hiring... but they are pretty strict about Bachelor and CELTA/TESL cerificate etc etc... Shocked

So if you are trying to apply from overseas, then you must have those qualifications...

BUT - why not just turn up.. you have a much better chance at getting the position. Ho Chi Minh City is a VERY easy place to live... and it is VERY easy to find a job that pays good money with good conditions... Laughing

It's a great place where salaries are high for the area and living costs are low!

If you just turn up you have a better chance to negotiate a better deal for yourself. Cool

If you got any questions, please do nto hesitate to ask!
