Was down south near the Syrian boarder in a fairly large town which was considered conservative with a Mosque on every corner. Efes signs abounded, refillable beer bottles were stacked high at most shops and my taxi driver soon began to offer me his "water bottle" full of raki as I was a repeat customer. Needless to say I found another driver rather quickly. It seems religious values are the same the world over. |
