To no one in particular; Imagine a teacher has been physically abusing your kid. You find out that another teacher did nothing with reports of the abuse, including a report of abuse directly from the abuser. How would you feel towards the teachers and the school? I'm not trying to fan any flames here. I strongly feel that admin should be informed and students and teachers subsequently questioned in the situation described by the OP.

What I said above. Report that teacher ABC told you this story. Up to the school authorities to investigate.

As for the Netherlands being a police state, Laughing Laughing Laughing I lived there for almost a decade. Have NO idea what support anyone might be able to make for that statement.

Well, Spiral. It is a state, and they have police. Q.E.D!

Same for Sweden. But then you'd expect that from a Communist state : )

If you hear a rumour that a child is being abused, physically or sexually, you report it.

I appreciate that acting on rumours and gossip is bad. I don't like the idea much myself. How you report it may be a tricky issue. Getting involved may not be in your own self-interest. I realise all of that.

I don't know or understand the Op's situation enough to even be sure whether it is children involved here. I just think the first sentence should be a guiding principle, and is indeed part of every child protection strategy that I know of.

Think I need discuss this with senior admin at my school?

Yes, you need to.

You could think, if I report and am wrong, what are the possible consequences? and if I don't report and abuse is happening, what are the possible consequences?

You don't have to be direct. You could just tell admin that they need to have private chats with a few of the class leaders, or go to class meeting sometime and ask if anything has been going on. Then it wasn't exactly you who told.

Even if the guy is lying, it show quite poor judgement to think that kind of stuff makes good stories.
