I'm doing a volunteer class for beginners with no English background whatsoever. I will not have access to any books and will have to find everything on line for lessons. I've seen a great deal of links for ESL lessons. But, what I would really like is an easy to use free site containing worksheets. I'm most worried about the worksheets because I don't have the time to create them.

The time crunch I'm under is always the issue. In a perfect world I'd like a site thats free, quick and very easy to use with worksheets that are easy to print. Any help will be appreciated - Thank you.

I have looked at many many sites. Some sites are not meant for absolute beginners. Other sites have worksheets which are difficult to print. It seems as though the formatting is not pdf therefore making it difficult. If possible I'd like to know about a site which has ready to print pdf format worksheets.

If anyone knows of specific sites please do let me know.

There are a bunch of resources I could suggest that have worked for me

For Educational Worksheets - https://www.jumpstart.com . Just click on the resources tab under the top right corner (right on top of the home page) and click on Worksheets. You can start with preschooler English ones and make your way up.

If Internet is something your class has access to, the site also has basic English games that could help your students. There are also plenty of other sites that you could find with a simple google search but I use these.

There's a simple way to convert Jpegs to PDF. You just need go to file > print > and in the place with the name of the printer, there should be something called a PDF writer. Or Print to PDF.

Hope this helps!

Thanks - I will try your worksheets.

I appreciate the specific link.
I've had to deal with many sites in the past for worksheets and it seems worksheets that are already in pdf format make like easier.
In the past sometimes the conversion is easy to change the format and sometimes almost impossible.
