i'd like to find a university or college job in kunming/yunnan for september. can anyone recommend a good site to find one online? i'll be visiting the area soon and would like to look while i'm on holiday. chinatefl.com doesn't seem to have much to offer with respect to yunnan.
warmest regards ~ 7969 |

I think this forum is more for questions regarding jobs or job offers Already found.
Most people tend to feel one should be able to do the leg work themselves to Find their job.
There are a number of threads about Where one can look for a job,
The `Sticky topics at the top of the lists
The `Search function
`Google
The classifieds in `Thatsshanghai.com
Its also quite possible that most who know of a good school dont want to post the info on a forum that Many `Just any stranger .. will read. They might tell people they know a little about some tips. in private messages but not in an open thread.
Not directed at anyone in particular;
It isnt uncommon for `less than desirables to be looking for
"The Easy Vacation / holiday teaching English in China."
Why would one take a chance on one of them possibly using their name as a reference on a application & then turning out to be a bad character?
Find your own job offers, then ask if anyone knows about Those schools, what their offering or others questions like that, youll get help here.
Once youre here teaching, youll understand. |

You may never hear about this one but, just in case, avoid the CELPIP English Training School, Kunming. |

if you've been paying any attention to this forum, you'd know i've already been in china several months. i'm not asking for references, i'm asking for links to find jobs. i'd prefer to arrange a meeting with schools in kunming before i get there so as to waste as little time as possible. the sites i've visited had little for yunnan.
i think the original question fits this category. |

As Im sure you pay plenty attention, Im sure ya noticed the reply under yours,
my post was more towards that one & others that show up on this forum asking for where a good school is. If I thought you were asking outright for schools names, I might not have wrote about the number of threads about Where one can look for a job.
I didnt mean my post in a bad way or directed at anyone in particular.
I should have gone with my original thought of not replying at all..
`Enjoy the afternoon thunderstorms |
