I am a new teacher from England and I was offered a English teaching position at Raffles in a city called Chanchun. Does anyone know about this location or this school.

Would you mean "Changchun"? Searching the forum (a good idea every now and then ), I found this longish topic on Changchun.

I thought I knew all the schools in Changchun but can't say I've heard of this one! 7 schools were shut recently for not having the correct licenses, and this has cemented further the student numbers and reputation of the four most famous private schools in here (see threads on Changchun).

I live in Changchun and have never heard of it either. try asking for emails of current foreign teachers at the school. If you decide to come here, I could answer questions if you have them.

I understand that it is part of another college, Changchun University, and it is a busness school. Has anyone worked for Raffles in another city?

I have worked for Raffles in Changchun and would not recomend it.
they have gone through at least 5 or 6 teachers or staff members in the last year. This is a dead end job and the English/BA/Art teachers are always blamed for the admins mistakes and poor attendence.
