Hi,

Has anyone heard of this training company? They are based in the UK AND recruiting for teachers for Qatar and Kuwait. I was just wondering if they are ok and if anyone reading has had any dealings with them?

Thanks!

I've never seen this company mentioned within the Cafe's forums. However, I found one of their job ads for EFL teachers, and from what I can tell, their focus is mostly in the construction and oil industries. That said, I'd assume they're not quick to hire female teachers.

Never heard of them but the money at the lower end (2000 GBP) is cr*p and thirty days annual leave is rubbish.

The ad says £2-3k, depending on experience but also says "Minimum 3 years ESL teaching experience" so I assume if you've worked in TEFL for three years you only receive £2k/month.

I expect here the devil will be in the details. Is accommodation shared? What are the expected class contact hours? Are "30 days holidays paid" in addition to Eid and are there any summer breaks?

I'm guessing now but if the teaching will be for the construction and oil industries then it'll be a private language school. The ad states that the jobs are due to start mid 2014 so it probably isn't even up and running yet. Avoid.
