Do the Japan Post bank cards work in ATMs outside of Japan? I would like to access my account while traveling outside the country.
If not, is is possible to arrange a bank transfer in advance of my trip (for a date when I'll be outside of Japan)? I could wire money back to my country and access it from that account? |

| I don't know about JP but I can use my Shinsei card abroad. I also use Goremit (was Golloyds) to transfer money back to the UK. I can do that online with Shinsei, so I can send it even if I'm overseas. If you have internet banking with JP it should work fine once you get it set up. |
