| Is is true that the only CELTA course in Japan is offered only in Kobe? Does anyone know of any other alternatives? Thanks for the help. |

| I heard you can do it for a month in Thailand for $1500 USD. A friend looked into it. Sorry, no link, but google should come up with something with a little effort. |

| I believe the British Council in Tokyo is offering one full time in August. If I remember correctly it costs between 300,000 and 400,000 yen. |

Don't give those crooks in KOBE, KYOTO, or the British Council in Tokyo your money... For the SAME price if not CHEAPER, you can fly to Vietnam or Thailand, pay for the course, your hotel and meals for a MONTH and get the same certificate. (Kyoto offers a SIT TESOL in combination with the CELTA, but why pay SO MUCH for an extra certificate that will get you NO WHERE! Look at ANY job advertisement, and find me one that requires or even mentions it...haha!)
Plain and simple, going international = VACATION plus CELTA for LESS!!!
That is what I did last year! (Vietnam) But Thailand is $100(USD) cheaper and has more course dates than ALL of the options in Japan or Vietnam.
These schools (British Council Tokyo ESPECIALLY) STEAL your MONEY in JAPAN... it's not worth it!!! BELIEVE ME!
