Dear Hatcher,
Although I have not personally been to the labour office I know somebody that did. In his case I think he was awarded what he was owed. At least that is what he said. Although the outcome of the case is not guaranteed, you can be assured that the case will be a protracted one and will come at the expense of your sanity and ability to leave the country. Every case is different, but my general advice would be to cut your losses and if at all possible return but with a better employer. As far as I am aware you will be unable to leave the country until the conclusion of your case. Indeed, the wheels of 'justice' grind slowly.
Regards,
Abbas |
