Does anyone know if there are any universities or colleges that offer a 2 bedroom apartment for each foreign teacher?

Universities, generally, are better positioned (financially) to furnish decent accommodations. Every public university I've worked for furnished a 2 bedroom apartment with a living room, bathroom, and a kitchen with appliances.

The only real h*llh*le I've ever been sentenced to was at a 2-year college. That was really unfortunate because the students, the school and its administration were all top-notch.

You must ask when you apply for employment.

I've only had one situation (uni and vocational) where I had a one bedder.
I moved into it by choice from a 2 bedder on a lower floor for less noise and more sun.

I live in a 2-bedroom apartment, provided by the school. My school in Hangzhou, gave me a one-bedroom, but the apartment was spacious. All-in-all, I've been very lucky with school-provided apartments during my time here.

This really depends on the location as well as the school. Generally, the further out from the city life and lower the quality of the apartment, the more rooms you get or the bigger the apartment will be.

I figure a 30 minute travel (or more) radius to the center and you should be able to get more. If you are in the central part of the city, then either you are going to work for a big chain school which can pay for this or you will be put into shared housing quarters.

Is there a reason why you need 2 bedrooms? Is it possible to just get a bigger apartment and divide that up? Some apartments have 2 bedrooms with a shared bathroom. Then, they have a huge living room area.

I know you specifically asked for colleges, but if the college doesn't have the bigger apartments on campus then what you do is get an apartment off campus and commute. The logistics of it all are the same. One teacher I know turned his larger apartment into a sort of hotel/dorm style room where two beds were near each other separated by a nightstand.

Be sure and ask about air conditioners. I worked for one school who put me in a massive apartment with 4 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, 2 bathrooms, dining room and kitchen. The only problem was that there was only one small air conditioner in one bedroom.

I had the same although not in such a big apartment. Mine was a 2 bedder with aircon just in the main bedroom.
OK for summer, but in winter, because the hot water radiators were so weak (or not on at all) I really needed the aircon on 'warm' to make the place liveable. That said, the 'warmth' didn't really have a lot of effect on the living room.
Would be teachers be warned. If you're planning on working in the North and spending any part of the Spring Break at the school, your central (hot water radiators) will be off.

I am with my family (3 members) and I am not sure if my wife will teach next year. I would like more than a one bedroom apartment for all of us.

My main BR had double bed, closet etc but 2nd BR was empty.
OP should specify that you require 2xsingle beds in the 2nd BR.
That said, the schools may put you in the too hard basket because you are a non standard situation.
You will be much more attractive to them if they get two teachers from one apartment.
