They have a listing for a 8000-12000, free furnished housing next to the school and airfare. 25 contact hours, 10 office. It's in Ningbo, which seems to have the cleanest air according to here: http://aqicn.org/map/

Clean air is, I would guess, a huge, unsung advantage. No rent, smaller city and free airfare might make 12000 worthwhile if I can negotiate the max. anybody have history with them?

Ok, well, it's in Zhenhai which is 12 miles away from Ningbo proper. Zoom in a little closer on your AQI map.

As for Ningbo having clean air, most days it's still dangerously bad, chiefly because of the Ningbo Petro-Chemical Economic and Technical Development Zone built on its eastern coast - which is in Zhenhai.

Believe me, any safe AQI reading you got for Ningbo is a temporary fluke.

Also, bear in mind that a smaller city like Ningbo is still more populous than (for instance) every single city in the UK or USA other than London or new York. Smaller is only comparative. In fact if you're going to include Zhenhai as Ningbo, that brings you up to 7.5 million people.
