Hello there,
Burapha University International College has a high turnover rate....I would recommend the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce in central Bangkok. I know several teachers who have worked there for many years and they all said it is a decent place to work....plus they offer opportunities for overtime at a very good rate. You might also try Stamford College/University they are always looking for English teachers and their students come from different Asian countries (including Thailand) etc. Good luck! |

EFL Educator,
Much obliged for the helpful comments. I'll have a look at those schools, also.
Thanks. |

Hello there,
Most universities here in the LOS prefer a Masters degree in TEFL or Applied Linguistics nowadays. Salaries however are extremely low. The only advantage of working at Thai universities is that you usually teach less than 15 hours a week...which means you can teach overtime to supplement your very low earnings. Good luck! |
