Hi there. I applied for some jobs in China. I got an interview for a job in Middle Schools in Chaoyang District, Beijing. I'd love to hear from anyone who has worked there, because these schools may be good places to work, one hopes so, anyway. The job is through Beijing Chaoyang Vocational Education which seems to be a government body.

Now the initial interview went fine. It was a Skype video interview and they now want me to send them a teaching demo. I am able to do so.
What drew my attention was the pay scale, 10000-15,000 yuan per month.
With this I have to pay full rent. I suggested they pay me 15.000 yuan
due to my experience. I wouldn't accept 10,000 yuan I said, because I have rent and bills to pay.
How high IS rent in Beijing these days? How high is it in Chaoyang? It might be as high as 3000 yuan or 4000 yuan, I think, which would make 10,000 harder to live on. I want a little bit, maybe 3000 pounds over the year.
