Well all i know i was invited out to dinner more times than I care to remember, and never once had to stick my hand in a pocket. As a foreigner you will be treated like a rock star/vip round those parts. And lest we forget, we are not in the middle of the bamboos and panda bears, CHENGDU is ONLY 1 hour away....oh, the horror, I am amazed some people even have the balls to board a plane, let alone teach in a quieter part of China, it's not bad FFS! Being unemployed and homeless in the UK is far worse, trust me on that one!!!! End of story body!!!! |
