I keep seeing the highlighted "thing" (it looks somewhat like a pacman to me or a ghost) that informs me that there are new posts since I last visited. When I go to the particular forum, the are no highlighted smaller "things" at the sides of the posts;so I have no idea which posts are new. If anyone can actually work out what I mean, is anyone having the same problem?
Problem with the highlighted/not highlighted thing, not the inability to express oneself clearly. |

I believe the 'thing' is actually a little symbol of a piece of paper.
Try looking in your profile settings, once again. Maybe you've got it set so that the newest posts aren't showing up first, which would mean that you wouldn't see them in the first screen.
If that doesn't work, I have absolutely no idea!

Thanks for the replies. I am pretty sure they are ghosts as now they are now working normally; they must have been listening to me. The strange thing that has happened today is that all the emoticons now look directly at me and laugh wildly before going into a conspiratorial type huddle in the middle of their little screen, look back (over what would be their shoulders if they had any) and then laugh wildly again.
Anybody else have this happen? |
